Yes, I\u2019ve been away for a bit\u2026 life has a way of sweeping you off your feet. There\u2019s just never enough time, and writing these posts – as much as I enjoy it – takes a bit of calm and focus, which lately has been hard to find. So I\u2019m thinking about a more “optimized” way of sharing my progress – maybe shorter updates, maybe some kind of practice notes. I\u2019ll figure it out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Anyway – first things first: I did it! The entrance exam is behind me. The nerves have settled, and I can finally say it out loud – I\u2019ve started my zero year. I\u2019ve already had a few lessons, and honestly\u2026 it\u2019s fascinating.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This “zero year” has one clear goal: to understand how music actually works<\/strong>. It sounds simple, but behind that lies a whole universe of theory, relationships, and details I never realized existed. I\u2019m learning to read sheet music, study theory, and slowly turn those black dots on the staff into real piano sounds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Is it hard? Absolutely. No one said it would be easy, but maybe that\u2019s exactly the point – to push yourself, to grow, and to keep going even when it\u2019s tough. I just hope I won\u2019t give up. There\u2019s a lot to learn, the pace is intense, and each lesson reveals another layer of complexity. Still, I try to keep the rhythm – I practice around 45-60 minutes a day, hoping that someday my hands and mind will finally sync. And on the horizon – December exams, with a full set of religious songs we need to perform. It\u2019s serious business, and I can feel it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
